I can finally announce my BIG news!!
Big News: I’m Officially a Simon & Schuster Author(and Bear is already demanding his own dressing room)
I’ve been sitting on this news like an overcaffeinated hen guarding a very precious, very wiggly egg… and I can finally tell you:
I have a book deal with Simon & Schuster for my early reader graphic novel,Bear and Other Bear!
Yes. This is real. I have reread the email approximately fourteen times to make sure it wasn’t actually a cleverly disguised spam message offering me discounted medieval armor or a surprise inheritance from a long-lost royal. But no. It’s happening. And Bear is delighted.
Bear and Other Bear is the chaotic, funny little story of two bears who are absolutely, positively not the same (even though they really, really are). It’s full of expressive paws, crisp comedic timing, and the kind of gentle absurdity that feels like a warm cookie with a slightly unhinged smile.
I cannot wait for young readers to meet these furry goofballs and follow their adventures. My inner child is currently doing joyful cartwheels. My adult self is pretending to be calm, composed, and professional. Both are failing spectacularly.
